The ALVIZ plant was constructed in 1899 and acquired by the Group in 2004. It is located in the city of Arkhangelsk, which is in the Arkhangelsky region. Currently, the plant is one of the leading distilled spirits production facilities in the region accounting for more than one-third of sales in the Arkhangelsky region local distilled spirits market.
The Arkhangelsky region has a population of 1.3 million people with an average annual distilled spirits consumption level of 1,645 thousand decalitres. The ALVIZ plant produces more than 40 types of distilled spirits, including 23 types of vodka, varieties of bitter and sweet liqueurs, two types of balms made with the use of special recipes, two types of cognac and two varieties of wine-based beverages.
The ALVIZ plant is located on land plots with an aggregate area of 41,000 square metres. The aggregate area of the plant's production and auxiliary premises amounts to approximately 17,980 square metres with 4,816 square metres being leased by the plant. The plant also operates eight storage facilities with an aggregate area of approximately 6,502 square metres. The plant utilises modern high-efficiency equipment produced by German and Italian manufacturers.
