JSC “Synergy” is one of the leading producers of distilled spirits in Russia based on production volume. Its strategic business area is production of distillery products. Synergy is structured as a holding company that at present includes 7 distilleries, as well as a number of food business production facilities. The company employed more than 7 000 people.
The central office of the company is located in Moscow, Russian Federation.
The Company has a portfolio of regional and national vodka brands which is diversified across all Russian market price points. The Group’s most successful national vodka brands include Beluga, Russky Lyod (Russian Ice), Myagkov, Belenkaya, Beloe Ozero (White Lake) and Gosudarev Zakaz (Sovereign’s Order). The Group is continually seeking to develop and introduce new brands and products into the market.
Synergy operates 7 distilleries strategically dispersed across Russia to support the Company’s national and regional branding strategy as well as distribution. The Company operates one distillery in each of the following regions: the Primorsky and Khabarovsky regions in the Russian Far East; the Kemerovo region in Central Siberia; the Permsky region in the Urals; the Arkhangelsky region in the Northwest federal district; and the Nizhniy Novgorod and Moscow regions of European Russia. The Group's distilleries utilise modern equipment. In addition, the Group owns and operates an ethanol production facility in the Nizhniy Novgorod region.
Altogether distilleries produce about 50 types of vodka of different quality and price groups, two dozens of different bitters and sweet liqueur made on the basis of plants and berries, several types of balsams. A range of liquors produced by the Company’s plants include rum, cognac, gin, liqueur, as well as wines and other low alcohol drinks.

Synergy is a privately-held company. It has in the past issued bonds to the public with the approval of the competent Russian authorities.
The Company has been publishing reports in accordance with International Accounting Standards since 2003. It is also an orderly tax payer.
In November 2007, the Company made the first successful IPO in the Russian distilled spirits sector. The post-IPO free float is 19%.
High professional level and achievements of the Company were recognized by a business community. Synergy has taken 31st position in the TOP-50 fastest growing companies in Russia according to the business magazine "RBC". Synergy is the only representative of the "Spirits manufacturing" sector in the rating. In addition "EXPERT" magazine included the Company to the list of TOP-200 of the largest Russian companies by capitalization, Synergy stands at 101st position in this rating. According to "EXPERT" Synergy shares were rated class A (high liquidity). Besides that, the Company was included in the list of TOP-400 largest Russian companies by sales volume.
Synergy considers itself an responsible player on the national alcohol market, and pursues a goal-oriented policy of social responsibility. In this respect financial and organizational support of cultural, sportive and social projects, and charitable assistance make a major part of the company’s activities.
